Miley Cyrus Teases ‘SNL’ Appearance With ‘Holy Trinity’ Pic With Elon Musk

by Madison Miller

“Saturday Night Live” fans are in for a pretty interesting and outlandish trio on tonight’s episode.

Elon Musk will be hosting the show on May 8 and Miley Cyrus will be the musical guest for the night, alongside The Kid LAROI.

Cyrus posted a photo alongside Musk and The Kid LAROI on her Instagram getting her fans excited for the “Saturday Night Live” feature. She called the three of them the “holy trinity” in her caption. A couple of days ago, she also tweeted about her future appearance on the show and said “Sorry in advance Mom.”

In a promotional video, Musk said, “I’m a wild card so there’s no telling what I might do.” However, he did agree to behave. This was only after being reminded his mom and Miley Cyrus’s mom would be present since it’s the Mother’s Day episode. Musk and Cyrus will also be joined by SNL cast member Cecily Strong.

Elon Musk as the SNL host has been a pretty controversial decision for NBC. This is one of the few media appearances from the Tesla and SpaceX CEO. He has had very few live television appearances. However, he has had cameos in “Iron Man 2,” “South Park,” and “The Simpsons.”

Musk is only the second billionaire to ever appear on the show. Some cast members of the show are concerned with appearing next to the controversial billionaire. Allegedly, cast members were allowed to opt out of the episode if they wanted to.

Miley Cyrus’ Recent Music

Besides releasing her highly anticipated rock album, “Plastic Hearts” in 2020, Cyrus also just released a new remix single called “Without You” alongside The Kid LAROI.

The song was originally on LAROI’s “F–k Love” July 2020 mixtape debut.

Besides new music, Miley Cyrus has been working on her 6,800-square-foot home she bought in Los Angeles last year. It is a six-bedroom, seven-bathroom home.

According to Architectural Digest, Miley Cyrus looked to her mother and manager, Tish Cyrus, (some might even say “momager”) for her interior design needs.

“Anything I dream she will create into a reality, even if it isn’t her style. She designs for her kids — I am not the only one that uses my mom as an interior designer, all five of us do — the same way she nurtures us. She just wants what’s best for us, creating spaces that reflect us is what’s best for our mental health, our creativity, our songwriting,” Cyrus told the publication.

Cyrus is looking for a rock ‘n’ roll look in her home. Tish is working alongside her design partner, Mat Sanders, to create a unique living space for her daughter. Some of the extravagant features include a technicolor bookshelf and a vibrating red chair shaped like an open mouth. There’s also a tiger face Gucci wallpaper on one of the walls of the house.
