Nashville’s ‘ACM Party for a Cause’ on Aug. 25 to Feature Performances by Keith Urban, Sam Hunt, Old Dominion & More

Nashville’s going to have one hell of a party. And some of country music’s brightest and best will be performing live on stage. ACM Party for a Cause is returning in 2021. And for the first time ever, it will be setting up shop in Music City itself.

So who can guests expect to see? Well, how do Keith Urban, Old Dominion, and Sam Hunt sound? Other performers include Lee Brice, Brett Eldredge, and Mickey Guyton. Meanwhile, Tenille Townes and Trisha Yearwood will be classing up the joint as special guests. Likewise, Sirius XM’s The Highway’s Storme Warren will serve as host for the event.

ACM Party for a Cause will be held on August 24 at the Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville, a day before the ACM Honors celebration on August 25th. That event will be held at the Ryman Auditorium. What’s a party without a cause? The event will be benefiting the ACM Lifting Lives. The charity focuses on changing lives through the influences of music.

Tickets for the ACM Party for a Cause go on sale on July 20. You can purchase tickets for both the event as well as the Honors celebration as well.

ACM Party for a Cause Through the Years

Through the years, ACM Party for a Cause has been a chameleon-like event. It’s changed form over the years in several different ways. For instance, one year it was an outdoor music festival. Another year it was a pool party. The charity event has been everything from motorcycle rides to archery tournaments and tailgate parties.

ACM Party for a Cause is picking up this year after taking 2020 off due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally, the organization had a Lifting Lives Topgolf Tee-Off event and an ACM Beach Bash planned for April 2020. But the organization had to cancel both events due to the lockdown.

In the past, ACM Party for Cause events raised more than $500,000 for charity. Additionally, ACM Lifting Lives donated more than $7 million towards multiple causes over the years as well. So far, the organization has raised funds for more than 150 causes.

Some of those causes include health programs as well. For instance, the charity partnered with local hospitals to fund national music therapy programs. They’ve focused on helping children, wounded military veterans, and those dealing with mental illnesses as well.

With the Diane Holcomb Emergency Relief Fund, ACM Lifting Lives also focuses on members within the music community dealing with difficult times and hardship. During the COVID-19 pandemic, many songwriters and musicians wrestled with the loss of livelihood.

The event promises to be a fun occasion for all of Nashville to come out and enjoy. Keith Urban and other musicians will bring the music. And audience members will bring the party.
