Alan Jackson Honors Memorial Day With Patriotic Pic

Count country music superstar Alan Jackson among the countless number of celebrities to wish America a happy Memorial Day.

The national holiday is a day we set aside to pay tribute to the men and women who lost their lives defending freedom. Today, millions of Americans will also honor the fallen in a variety of different ways. Some will attend a Memorial Day Service honoring soldiers who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Others will place flowers at the gravesites of our late military members. Others, like Alan Jackson, will also use social media to express their thoughts and appreciation for our country’s freedom.

Jackson took to social media Monday afternoon to wish his fans and followers a happy Memorial Day. Along with his message, he also includes a patriotic pic that his fans are sure to enjoy.

“Happy Memorial Day from Alan Jackson,” the country superstar writes in the post’s caption space.

The post blew up on social media, garnering much attention from Alan Jackson fans and country music lovers. Some fans returned the favor by wishing Jackson and his family a great and safe Memorial Day.

“Happy Memorial Day to you as well,” an Instagram poster writes. “Great job for Memorial Day Concert.”

Alan Jackson Performs at Memorial Day Concert

Jackson performed on Sunday evening as part of a Memorial Day celebration. He has noted in the past the great admiration and respect he has for the nation’s military men and women. Before taking the stage last night, he engaged his fan base to tune in via his social media pages.

“Don’t miss Alan Jackson on this year’s National Memorial Day Concert,” the social media post states. “All-star performances and tributes dedicated to all those who have given their lives for our country.”

Several of his fans thanked Alan Jackson for participating in the event and honoring fallen veterans.

Since bursting onto the country music scene in the early 1990s, Alan Jackson has been a top performer and fan favorite. Writing most of his own songs, Jackson has put out 16 studio albums with no signs of slowing down anytime soon. He is one of the best-selling country artists of all time with more than 75 million albums sold worldwide. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2017 and into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2018.
