American Music Awards unveiled the nominees for Favorite Male Country Artist.

The Nominees

This years nominees are Kane Brown, Luke Combs, and Morgan Wallen. The announcement came on Monday (October 26) during an episode of Good Morning America.

Combs is also nominated for Favorite Country Album for What You See Is What You Get. Wallen is also up for the honor for If I Know Me. They will be up against Blake Shelton for Fully Loaded: God’s Country.

All three men have had a stellar year. Combs, Brown and Wallen were recently nominated and performed at the 2020 CMT Music Awards earlier this month. Unfortunately, none took home any awards.

Other Country Nominees

The AMAs have five categories devoted to country music. There are categories for both male and female artists of the year. Secondly, there’s a Favorite Duo or Group category along with Album of the Year. Finally, there’s the Song of the Year award.

Finally, Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber’s collaboration is up for a major all-genre award. Their single is up for Collaboration of the Year.

All About the American Music Awards

The 2020 AMA’s is set to take place on November 22 at 6 PM CT on ABC. No details concerning how the show will be put on have been revealed yet. Other award shows have gone virtual or not had a live audience. The show was held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California, last year.

Fans can vote now through Twitter or their website on a daily basis. Voting concludes on November 16 at 12pm PT.

There are several factors that are taken into consideration when it comes to nominees. A committee chooses the nominees. Fan interactions, streaming, album, and digital sales, radio airplay, and social media are some of those. The eligibility period is from September 27, 2019, through September 27, 2020.
