Ashley McBryde Forced To Postpone Show After Suffering Injury in Horseback Riding Accident

Those looking forward to seeing Ashley McBryde tonight at Spokane’s Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox are going to be disappointed. Recently, McBryde’s team announced that the “Martha Divine,” singer would have to postpone tonight’s show after a horseback riding accident.

Ashley McBryde’s team posted a story to her Instagram stating that she was taking in the beauty of Montana on horseback when she had an accident. They didn’t detail the accident or her injuries. However, it did lead to a trip to the hospital. “Earlier today, Ashley was enjoying her time in the beautiful state of Montana and had an accident while riding a horse,” the post said. “After a trip to the hospital and few stitches (and some very sore bones) she is recovering and doing her best to ensure she can play again as soon as possible.”

Ashley McBryde’s team went on to thank the “wonderful EMTs and hospital workers in Missoula.” They then passed their apologies on to the fans for the postponement. They closed the message by saying, “As soon as we have updates on other shows this week we will make sure to let everyone know.”

So, it is possible that Ashley McBryde will postpone her shows this weekend as well. She planned to play in Seattle at The Showbox on Saturday and the Roseland Theater in Portland, Oregon on Sunday. However, her team hasn’t announced any more postponement as of the time of writing.

On Tuesday, September 28, Ashley McBryde is slated to play the Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Oregon. Ray Fulcher will be her opener. However, Luke Combs is also on the bill, and tickets for the show are already sold out. Hopefully, she’ll be all healed and ready to go by then.

Ashley McBryde Started the Tour with a Bang

Ashely McBryde is currently traveling the country on her This Town Talks tour. Back in August, she played three nights at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. During the first night of that three-night engagement, she surprised fans by bringing Eric Church out on stage with her.

They launched into an epic cover of the Allman Brothers Band’s “Midnight Rider.” They shared vocals on the song. However, that wasn’t all they shared. Before the song ended Ashley went and filled a couple of Solo cups with liquor. She brought one to Chief and they shared a shot before finishing the song. Needless to say, seeing McBryde and the “Smoke a Little Smoke,” singer with drinks in their hands made the crowd go wild.

Fans can look forward to more electrifying moments like that one when Ashley McBryde heals from her recent horseback riding accident and gets back to rocking packed houses once again. Here’s wishing her a speedy recovery and a quick return to the road.
