Rising country music star Ashley McBryde finds herself in high demand these days as her career takes off.

The 2019 country music newcomer of the year in 2019 has been on fire lately with her newest music offering doing quite well. Her hit single “Never Will” has proven to be a breakthrough song for the Grammy Award-nominated performer.

Last night (Wednesday) she found herself in the spotlight again as she took the primetime stage on Jimmy Kimmel Live. She sang her hit song to the delight of her fans and followers. On a well lit stage, McBryde plays her guitar and sings as she is backed by several musicians and backup singers. Her performance drew positive reviews from her fans and social media users. Ashley McBryde Looks ahead to 2021 and New Music

Though it has only been a year since she released her second album, she already has new music on her mind for 2021. Speaking to Everything Nash, the singer says she was able to get a lot of songwriting done during 2020.

“During 2020, we have been able to have two writing retreats safely,” She says in the interview. “And we wrote a lot of songs. I don’t feel in my heart like it’s time for record number three, but we did write an entire project one week. I think 2021 is going to get to see that happen. I’m hoping there’s some other artists that are going to sing on it with me. And I think it’s going to be a blast.”

As it was for many, 2020 was a difficult year for McBryde as the country battled a deadly pandemic. She says the new year has brought new hope to everyone.

“I’m going to give so many awkward long hugs, probably to some strangers too,” she says. “Musically, I’m so ready to get back on a stage. I don’t care if it’s a hole in the wall, and I don’t care if it’s an arena. I don’t care if it’s a theater and I just want to play music again.”
