Cyrus appears to be in something of a nostalgic mood lately. He used his platform on Twitter to share memories from his early career. He also shared photos of Miley and her siblings growing up.

For instance, Cyrus revealed to fans he played football while in high school. He even revealed his team won the state championship during his senior year. Cyrus posted a black and white photo of himself as a tight end.

He wrote, “Today is #NationalTightEndsDay. I was a tight end for the Russell Red Devils. We won the State Championship my senior year! Yes. This is me catching the ball.”

For fans of Hannah Montana, Cyrus posted a video of him and his daughter singing. The video featured a young Miley and Billy Ray singing one of his song’s “Southern Rain.” Cyrus used the throwback video to celebrate 20 years since the song has been released.

In recent years, Cyrus has had something of a renaissance when it comes to his career. In 2019, the singer partnered with Lil Nas X on a remix of his hit song “Old Town Road.” For the collaboration, Cyrus won a Grammy Award. Cyrus followed up that success by releasing an EP in January called The Singin’ Hills Sessions Vol. 1 Sunset.

He’s currently working on a sequel EP called The Singin’ Hills Sessions – Mojave.
