No one can rock a mullet as well as Billy Ray Cyrus, and this weeks ‘Mullet Monday” post is giving us major throwback vibes.

Billy Ray Cyrus took to social media this morning to share a throwback picture from an old album cover shoot. Cyrus then proceeds to hashtag all his hit songs from the 1992 album.

“Happy #MulletMonday y’all! This pic was from the photo session for the album cover for #SomeGaveAll. Yes. #AchyBreakyHeart #WheremGonnaLive #CouldveBeenMe #ShesNotCryinAnymore and #TheseBootsAreMadeForWalkin

He also shares the link to the music video for “These Boots Are Made For Walking.”

“Mullet Monday” is a weekly tradition for the hit singer with a much-needed throwback of his iconic mullet. Last Monday Billy Ray Cyrus uploaded a picture featuring him and John Stamos, both with the legendary hairstyles.

In a recent interview, Miley Cyrus talks about cutting her hair into a mullet to keep on the family tradition during quarantine. Read more about that interview here.

“Happy #MulletMonday from me, @MileyCyrus and @JohnStamos!”

Billy Ray Cyrus Releases New Music

Billy Ray Cyrus released a new song on November 6, 2020, titled “Mama Said Knock You Out,” which is a cover of LL Cool J’s song from 1991. The song reached number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 and won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance when performed by LL Cool J.

The song is part of Cyrus’s new EP “The Singin’ Hills Sessions – Mojave,” which featured the songs “99 Single Wide,” “Ghost Dance,” and “Mama Said Knock You Out.”

Billy Ray Cyrus’s album Some Gave All was his first album for Mercury Records. It was also the best selling album in 1992 in the US. Some Gave All featured four hit singles, including “Achy Breaky Heart.” The song was the best-selling single of 1992, and the music video sparked a craze in line dancing.

However, we still are lost when it comes to the dance.
