Billy Ray Cyrus teased his newest song “Ghost Dance” with a sneak peek. Cyrus will include the song as part of his newest EP The Singin’ Hills Sessions – Mojave.

In the tweet, Cyrus wore a white cowboy hat singing several lyrics from the song. He also wrote, “I’m so excited about my new EP The Singin’ Hills Sessions – Mojave that I had to share this sneak peek with you. #GhostDance 11.06.20″

The EP will be a follow up to his previous EP The Singin’ Hills Sessions Vol. 1 Sunset. Cyrus released the set of songs in January of this year. That album included a cover of the Neil Diamond classic, “I am… I Said,” which Cyrus dedicated to Kobe Bryant.

Billy Ray Cyrus won two Grammys in 2019.

In addition to his own songs, Cyrus also featured on a remix version of last year’s popular “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X. The song topped several charts including Billboard Hot 100. For his collaboration work, Cyrus received two Grammy awards.

Prior to the song, Cyrus questioned whether his music career was over. Popular in the 90s for singles like “Achy Breaky Heart,” Cyrus made headlines more for being the father of Miley Cyrus than for his music in recent years. Cyrus acted his daughter’s television show Hanna Montana, which helped launched her into world-wide fame.

“At a certain point I said, ‘Man, did I trade in my best years of music to become an actor?’ And then along comes Lil Nas X, and he told me the reason he reached out to me was because he said I was the only country dude that he knew because of ‘Hannah Montana,'” Cyrus told Business Insider. “”So really if I hadn’t done ‘Hannah Montana,’ I’d have never met Lil Nas X. He would have never known I was on the planet. So you really can’t question God’s plan.”
