Blake Shelton announced he will release his 12th studio album, Body Language, on May 21.

The 12-song offering represents Blake’s first album of new material since 2017’s Texoma Shore, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.

Body Language will feature 12 songs, including Blake’s most recent No. 1 single, “Happy Anywhere,” which was a duet with fiancée Gwen Stefani. Likewise, Blake’s current Top 20 single, “Minimum Wage,” also made the cut.

The album’s title track features vocals from the Swon Brothers, who were part of Team Blake during the fourth season of The Voice in 2013. The duo co-penned the title track with Matt McGinn and Ryan Beaver. The album also features a regular who’s who of Nashville’s top songwriters, including Ross Copperman, Shane McAnally, Hardy, Jessi Alexander, and more.

“We’ve been working on this album on and off for two years now, and I’m very proud of what we have put together,” said Blake Shelton in a press release. “We certainly had some unique challenges with the pandemic, but we also had a lot of fun. We explored new sounds while making sure to get in some classic country.”

Blake also shared the big news via Instagram and Twitter.
