A busy man as of late, country music star Blake Shelton has a new album and is asking fans what their favorite song on “Body Language” is.
The album made its official debut Friday and Blake Shelton fans are thrilled to have new music. “Body Language” is the 12th studio album put out by the country music singer and songwriter. The album is already a hit as it flies off the shelves and into the hands of awaiting country fans.
Before its official release, Shelton put out two singles from the album that have also done quite well. Last summer, “Happy Anywhere” dropped to much acclaim and praise. The single features his soon-to-be-wife, pop star and former No Doubt frontwoman, Gwen Stefani. The album’s second single “Minimum Wage” came out earlier this year in January and has also been a hit for Blake Shelton.
Blake Shelton took to social media on Saturday to engage his robust fanbase and solicit feedback on the album. He asks his fans to name their favorite song from “Body Language” — and the answers do not disappoint.
“Alright y’all…you have had the album for a day,” he says in the Saturday morning tweet. “Tell us your favorite song from Body Language.”
Blake Shelton Fans Can’t Pick Just One Song From New Album
Blake Shelton’s post brought in immediate attention as you would expect, but fans had trouble picking just one song as their favorite. Several of the country star’s fans listed a couple of songs as their favorite, claiming it is too difficult to pick just one.
“Mine is Monday morning missing you, now I don’t, making it up as you go and body language!!” one Blake Shelton fan proclaims.
“Body Language and Now I don’t,” another fan says in reply to Shelton’s request. “Please don’t sleep on those songs and push them as singles!”
“Minimum wage and Body Language,” another says. “And the rest of them!”
According to Shelton’s impromptu poll of his fans and online followers, the two top songs appear to be “Body Language” and “Now I Don’t.”
The studio album has 12 tracks on it for a total run time of just over 38 minutes and it is certainly off to a great start.
Though there isn’t an official date yet, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are aiming for a summer wedding. They are headed in the right direction as the couple already has their first song picked out.
