Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani will reportedly marry at a small chapel on Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch. Sources say Shelton built the chapel on his estate just for the occasion.

According to US Weekly, the country singer recently worked on the chapel himself. Stefani also offered her “input” on the chapel’s design. Additionally, the two singers reportedly plan to have their wedding early next year.

“Blake built a chapel on the grounds of his Oklahoma ranch. He did it himself with help,” a source told Us Weekly. “It’s really a tribute to their love. They are going to get married in the chapel, most likely early next year.”

This news keeps in line with previous reports the couple wanted a small wedding. Reportedly, Shelton and Stefani want an intimate affair with only their closest family present. Neither wants a big wedding, possibly due in part to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani Announce Their Engagement

Shelton and Stefani dated for five years after meeting on the set of “The Voice.” Both are judges on the musical competition. In October, Shelton finally popped the question, and the two announced their engagement via Twitter.

Reportedly, Shelton asked the permission of Stefani’s three sons before proposing. Stefani’s children are from her previous marriage to Gavin Rossdale. Long separated, Stefani is reportedly in the middle of nullifying her marriage to Rossdale.

“Blake told her boys that he wanted to propose and asked their permission,” the source told People Magazine. “Her family very much approves of him. He’s an amazing partner and a great extra dad to the boys. Gwen is ecstatic. The proposal was a surprise.”

Before the engagement, the couple bought a $13.2 million mansion together in California. The two also have become musical collaborators producing several duets together in recent years as well.
