A few weeks after he announced the release of a new single, country music superstar Blake Shelton has released a new music video.
In January, the singer released the new track “Minimum Wage.” On Friday (Feb. 12), a video for that same song was officially made available to the world. Shelton made the announcement via Twitter. And, he was excited about doing so!
“Oh yeahhh.. It’s here!!!,” Blake Shelton posted along with a clip from the video. “Watch the official music video for “Minimum Wage” now on @YouTubeMusic! #YouTubeMusic http://wmna.sh/minimumwage_video.”
Fans were very happy to learn about the new video and they shared their excitement with Shelton on Twitter. “Another amazing song Blake,” one fan wrote. “Awesome song and hot video. Thanks for releasing the video, I love it,” another said.
One fan even thought Shelton’s is better than ever thanks to his relationship with fiancee Gwen Stefani. “Blake, your music has become even better since you have found love. Congratulations,” the fan posted.
When Blake Shelton released “Minimum Wage” in January, he described it as a love song country fans would enjoy. “It’s a classic country love song that says you don’t need a lot of money or possessions to have love. I wanted to record it the minute I heard it and it’s catchy as all get-out too!” he shared on Twitter on Jan. 15.
The song is catchy. “You can make my truck out in the driveway / Roll like a cleaned up Cadillac / Girl, lookin’ at you lookin’ at me that way / Can make a man feel rich on minimum wage,” Shelton sings.
