Blake Shelton Shouts Out Fans at Ole Red

There must have been some NASCAR fans at Ole Red in Gatlinburg when Bowyer and his friends came in to grab a bite. Someone sent a round of shots to the former NASCAR driver’s tables. The fellas were very appreciative. You could even say they thought the shots were number one!

It looks like Bowyer and the boys are having a blast and that’s the top priority for the folks at the Shelton-inspired Ole Red.

Ole Red Gatlinburg

Blake Shelton released his rendition of “Ole Red” in 2002. It went platinum and was a number one hit on the Billboard country charts. Almost two decades later it inspired a chain of venues. The first is in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. The other two are in Nashville and Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

All of the Ole Red locations are a country music fan’s dream. The menu consists of updated versions of both bar food and southern cooking. There’s a bar with a long list of custom cocktails and a stage for live music as well.

The Gatlinburg location is a renovated mall, which means there’s plenty of space. The two-story establishment features a stage, a gift shop, and bars on both floors. It seats 370 people, so it’s big enough to get a decent crowd while still being small enough for an intimate performance. In a press conference leading up to the grand opening Blake Shelton said, “I would say from an artist’s standpoint, this is my favorite of the three because of the setup of the stage and what you can see out here in front of you with the two levels.”

Ole Red is a great venue with good food and better people. The Gatlinburg location is planted firmly in the Great Smoky Mountains. It’s a nearly unbeatable combination.
