He may not have been able to watch the game live, but that certainly didn’t change the excitement country star Jason Aldean felt when he found out his Atlanta Braves are now headed to the 2021 World Series.
“Had to record game 6 and watch after my show,” the country music superstar said in his recent Instagram post. “but just saw my @braves clinch a World Series berth after 22 years. LETS GO!!!!!”
Aldean also makes sure to add a wishful hashtag #GeorgiasYear to his post.
Aldean’s Insta post includes a photo of his Atlanta Braves celebrating their win. Right after the team defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-2 in game six of the National League Championship Series.
Earlier in the week, Jason Aldean made a toast to his Braves. Giving the Georgia team a bit of Wolf Moon bourbon luck, wishing his Braves well as they continued to go head to head against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the series.
“Ready to celebrate with some @wolfmoonbourbon tonite if my Braves win!” the country music superstar said in a recent Insta post. “LETS GO BOYS!”
This is the Brave’s first trip to the World Series since 1999 when they went up against the New York Yankees. The Brave’s last World Series victory, however, was four years prior in 1995 when they overtook the Cleveland Indians 4-2.
Jason Aldean’s Upcoming Release
Jason Aldean is certainly preparing to cheer his Braves on as they go up against the Astros next week. After the Houston team defeated Boston’s Red Sox in a nailbiter of a match-up in the 2021 American League Championship Series.
However, the country music superstar has another big event coming up soon. A meaningful project that the singer’s fans are particularly excited about. Aldean’s next two albums one titled Macon and the other Georgia are set to be released within the next few months.
Macon is scheduled to drop first with a November 12 release date. This album features a duet with another iconic country superstar, Carrie Underwood. Georgia will follow a few months later with an April 22 release date.
A Heartfelt Hometown Connection
Aldean says these two albums are heartfelt projects that took the star back to his hometown roots.
“I kinda always felt like where I grew up and where I was from, ya know, had such a big impact on me as a person and a really big impact on music,” Jason Aldean says about his Georgia roots.
“I mean, growing up there it was a hotbed for music,” the country singer adds. “For me, it sorta shaped my music and things that I like to sing about.”
