Rising country music star Carly Pearce has been very active on social media over the weekend tweeting photos and updates for her fans. Sunday evening the singer posted a “throwback” photo of herself performing as a young child. The tweet also places a more current photo of Pearce next to the younger picture for comparison.
“How it started vs how it’s going,” Pearce writes in the caption space. The “how it started/how it’s going” trend has been popular on social media among celebrities who want to show fans their beginnings.
The photo on the left shows a younger version of Pearce performing on a lighted stage. Her blue dress, blue vest and matching blue cowgirl hat are sure to illicit some laughs and giggles from her fan base. The photo on the right shows Pearce in a long green dress with her signature blonde hair. She is a clutching a trophy while posing for a photo at the CMA Award Ceremony.
