Live music is finally coming back. Earlier this year, many people feared 2021 would bring more of the same as last year. However, as summer sets in and restrictions lift, things are finally getting back to normal. So, many artists who found themselves cooped since the spring of 2020 are once again hitting the road. Fans are coming out in droves once again to feel the magic of music they can feel in their souls. Carrie Underwood is among those artists who are finally gracing the stage after a long forced hiatus.

Carrie Underwood came back to the stage in a big way. She was part of Country Jam in Colorado. The three-day festival bills itself as the “Biggest country music party in Colorado.” This year’s lineup makes that seem like a huge understatement. The festival hosted big names like Underwood, Luke Combs, Ashley McBryde, Tanya Tucker, and several more.

Earlier today, Carrie Underwood shared a photo of her on the Country Jam stage. You can tell from the picture alone that she is thrilled to be back in front of a crowd again. If the huge smile on Carrie’s face didn’t make it clear, the caption she wrote definitely did.

“I smiled so much last night that I thought my cheeks were going to pop,” Carrie Underwood gushed in the tweet. She went on to thank Country Jam for including her and her band in their festival. Then, she gave a shout-out to the fans who gathered to see her return to the stage. “What an amazing crowd for our first show back, ” she wrote.

It looks like Carrie Underwood had a great week in the Centennial State. She wasn’t just there to rock the stage and thrill the fans at Country Jam. In fact, she also had a relaxing week with her hubby and sons at the Wind River Ministries ranch. While they were there, the Underwood clan took part in some classic western activities. They rode horses, the boys fed farm animals, and the family even got in on some archery. To keep the theme going, they all dressed the part as well.

So, between a week of spiritual summer camp and a night of rocking the stage, Carrie Underwood spent the last week feeding her soul. Then, she poured it out on the stage for her adoring fans. All I can say is, thank God for the return of live music.
