Country superstar Carrie Underwood and her family dressed in the cutest costumes for Halloween last night. Though, they apparently didn’t coordinate much.
Everyone seems to be dressed in a completely different outfit that doesn’t match anyone else, per Underwood’s latest Instagram post.
We see her husband Mike Fisher dressed as a cowboy. Underwood’s oldest son, six-year-old Isiah, seems to be dressed as some sort of clown. We can’t really see the outfit he’s wearing, but the white face, red nose, and wig indicate it. The family’s youngest son, two-year-old Jacob, looks as adorable as ever in a “Paw Patrol” costume (peep those shoes!). And the country star herself is dressed all in black with a skeleton look painted on her face.
Carrie Underwood confessed to being confused by at least “3 out of 4” of the costumes worn by the Fisher family.
“I’m not sure what 3 out of 4 of us are supposed to be, but HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Be extra spooky and extra safe out there!” Underwood captioned her post.
The country star doesn’t specify which costumes, precisely, gave her pause. She could even be talking about her own costume, which easily could’ve been thrown together at the last minute. No matter how varied their costumes were, though, no one can dispute how freaking cute the family looks.
“Happy Halloween! You all look adorable! Family fun!” one person commented on Carrie Underwood’s Instagram post.
“Aw, this is so cute! 😍 Happy Halloween, Fisher Family!” another person said.
Another fan took a dig at Underwood’s husband. “Looks like Mike’s everyday outfit haha,” the person wrote.
Someone else supported Underwood’s caption. “Does anyone really know what everyone’s costumes are on Halloween?! It works!”
Today Show Host Hoda Kotb Dresses as Carrie Underwood For Halloween
While Carrie Underwood dressed up as a skeleton for Halloween, TODAY show host Hoda Kotb decided to channel the iconic country star. The whole cast of the TODAY show dressed up in a football-themed segment called “Football Fright (Night) in America,” and Kotb portrayed Underwood.
At one point, the crew started playing Underwood’s rendition of “Waiting All Day For Sunday Night.” We first see clips of Underwood herself as she performs it in the pre-game show. But soon, the clip cuts to Kotb, rocking a black and silver minidress and blonde wig. She goes all out while lip-synching the song, dancing along with tons of energy. We love to see it.
Carrie Underwood loved to see it too. Kotb apparently sent her a group photo of the cast before they recorded the show. “She said we all looked good,” Kotb said in a behind-the-scenes video.
