Carrie Underwood Poses for Adorable Bundled Up Valentine’s Day Selfie with Husband

by Joe Rutland

Carrie Underwood finds a way to bring out the best for Valentine’s Day as she shares a photo of herself with her husband on Sunday.

They went out in the middle of a snowy, cold backdrop dressed up to stay warm. Underwood and her husband, former National Hockey League player Mike Fisher, stood side by side while she snapped a quick photo.

Not included in this Instagram photo are the couple’s two children, Isaiah and Jacob. Probably they were kept inside to avoid being in the wintry chill.

Valentine’s Day, though, is a time when couples hopefully feel warmer toward one another and share it with their partner. Take a look as Underwood and Fisher show up for a couples’ selfie on the love-filled holiday.

Underwood’s post will reach her 10 million-plus followers on Instagram. She said in her post, “Hope you all are being sweet to each other out there.”

Obviously, it’s a sentiment many people share with the country music singer-songwriter, too.

Carrie Underwood Announces Release Date for ‘My Savior’

As for her music career, Carrie Underwood is always busy. One of the things she has wanted to do for a long time is release a gospel-themed album. With “My Savior,” she accomplishes that goal.

She said that “My Savior” will contain a duet with CeCe Winans on the classic Christian hymn “Great Is Thy Faithfulness.” It’s a big deal to have Winans, who is the best-selling female gospel artist of all time, as part of the album.

Underwood announced that Bear Rinehart of NEEDTOBREATHE will sing harmonies. She also said that the album tracks will be backed by “an elite group of Nashville musicians.”

Among those musicians are Mac McAnally, a 10-time Country Music Association Musician of the year. Gospel legends Buddy Greene and Gordon Mote also lend their talents to “My Savior.” Brett James, a familiar voice on some of Underwood’s records, is also taking part in this project.

“My Savior” is scheduled to be released on CD and digital platforms on March 26. If you want the vinyl version of Underwood’s album, then you can get it on April 30. More information about the album and updated details can be found on her website.
