Country music star Carrie Underwood sent a thank you to all Americans in the U.S. armed forces on Veteran’s Day. Meanwhile, she joins a growing list of country music icons in showing her appreciation for America’s armed forces.
Underwood sent out a tweet on Wednesday afternoon thanking veterans and their families for their sacrifices.
“Sending love to our Veterans and their families today. So grateful for your service and sacrifice. #VeteransDay, Underwood wrote on Twitter.”

Miranda Lambert is another country star to honor those who served this Veterans Day. For her, it’s both her late, revered grandfathers.
“Happy Veteran’s Day. These are my two paw paws,” Lambert posts to Twitter. Today, like many of us, she celebrates the U.S. Veterans in her family who sacrificed all to protect their country.
Lambert is celebrating her father’s father, Leroy Lambert – and her mother’s father, Marion Hughes. In addition to thanking both, she posts beautiful portraits of each grandfather respectively.
“[This is] (Dad’s Dad) Leroy Lambert and (Mom’s Dad) Marion Hughes who both served. Thank you to them and all who sacrifice for our country,” she states. As a result, Miranda Lambert sends a clear message to all of America’s veterans and current military that she is behind them 100 percent.
Dierks Bentley is honoring his late father, a WWII Veteran, for Veteran’s Day today – and donating to a worthy cause in turn.
“I was lucky to have a father who served in WWII,” Bentley starts off on Twitter. The son of a legendary military father from the World’s Greatest Generation, Dierks Bentley, like so many of us, is “inspired by the men and women who serve this country.”
As a result, Bentley is celebrating his father’s legacy – and the legacy of all U.S. Military Veterans – this Veterans Day by donating to a phenomenal cause, Folds of Honor.
