by Josh Lanier

Carrie Underwood is sharing some of the “Letters of Hope” she’s received as part of her “Season of Giving.” The country music superstar is asking fans to submit their stories of selfless acts of charity in the hopes it will inspire others.

She posted an update to the project to her nearly 10 million Instagram followers Friday.

“Thank you to all who have shared their amazing stories of giving and letters of hope so far! Keep sharing and spreading love. #SeasonOfGiving #MyGift 🎁✨ Share yours at,” she posted.

Carrie Underwood is embodying the spirit of the holidays even though it’s only October. She recently released her Christmas album, “My Gift,” which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Country, Christian, and Holiday charts. And her Christmas Special, featuring music from “My Gift” will debut on HBO Max sometime this fall.

Her fans seem excited to join her in beginning the holiday celebrations early.

“Such an awesome way to spread positivity,” one fan wrote on her Instagram post about the “Letters of Hope.”

“You have made my Christmas season already better with your wonderful holiday CD. I’ve waited so long to be able to listen to your version of O Holy Night over and over,” one woman posted.
