Carrie Underwood is getting in the holiday spirit with a little help from fans. The “Blown Away” singer shared a few inspiring letters from fans.

Letters From Fans

Underwood’s team shared a post via Twitter on Monday, Nov. 23, encouraging fans to submit their very own stories of hope during a time that we all need it most.

“Let’s kick off the week with a few inspiring stories of giving and letters of hope. Keep sharing your stories for a chance to win an awesome holiday prize pack,” the post read.

One fan named Alexis shared that her grandmother raised her and is the most selfless person she knows. Another person went to Build A Bear to make a bear for a deserving kid. She made a post online asking parents whose child needed a pick me up. She couldn’t choose a single child so she went back and bought five more teddy bears.

A couple shared their story of annual Christmas giving. Anne and her husband find three deserving families who need major home repairs and they pay for it out of pocket. Finally, Micheka praised her friend Stephanie for all of the work that she does to feed children. She created a nonprofit, Lennon’s Lunchbox, that pays students’ outstanding lunch bills.

The New Initiative From Carrie Underwood

Underwood created an interactive storybook with letters from fans on her website. After Underwood released her Christmas album, “My Gift,” she has been in the Christmas spirit ever since.

“The holiday season is all about giving,” her website reads. “Giving hope, spreading love and picking each other up when we need it the most. Share your personal stories of how you or someone in your life has given back, whether it be in your own time of need or someone else’s and let these stories be a source of encouragement for all!”
