Guess what country music fans! The one and only musical genius, Carrie Underwood, has another holiday performance coming up! That’s right, she’s heading to the Grand Ole Opry December 18 for a special live performance of ‘Silent Night’. This is something you won’t want to miss!

Fortunately, Carrie Underwood is one of the many artists performing in Circle Network’s Opry Live: USO Holiday Special. This event is for the celebration of veterans and America’s troops fighting for our country today.

Joining her on this special night is, Lauren Alaina, Luke Combs, Jessie James Decker, Josh Turner, and many more amazing stars.

That’s not all, though! The host of this show will be country singer-songwriter, Kellie Pickler. You will get to see things that weren’t at the CMA’s Country Christmas!

They say these artists will bring service members and military families joy. They want it to remind people on the sacrifices others make for us everyday. Unfortunately, we often forget how much their bravery does for our country. It is truly the greatest gift anyone can receive.

Despite the musical acts, the performance will also have stories from the hearts of veterans and the country stars.

Pickler sat down with PEOPLE magazine a while back to further discuss this big night.

“I’ve never worn the uniform, but I’m a proud supporter for those who do,” PEOPLE reports from Pickler herself. “As a Global Ambassador for USO, I hope to share the importance of serving those who serve us all.”

Additionally, this is a community based event with intention of bringing the community together. The holiday special also makes the perfect home for each of the veterans and military members.

Tune in LIVE on USO, Circle All Access’ social media platforms and the television channel to watch the fun on Saturday, December 18 at 9 p.m. ET.

Carrie Underwood’s Christmas Performances in the Past

If you’re a country music fan, you know that Carrie is no stranger to Christmas tunes. With her recent My Gift album and covers of the classics, Drummer Boy, O Holy Night and O Come All Ye Faithful, she has lots of experience.

In this clip, she performs O Holy Night at last year’s iHeart Radio’s holiday special. However, it is a virtual performance because of the pandemic. It is a powerful production and you can see that she’s really enjoying singing the song.

In fact, she always puts on stunning performances at every show she does. She commits to this career, which is one of the many things we love about her.

2021 has been an unbelievable year for Carrie Underwood and she will continue to light up the stage.
