Carrie Underwood teased fans on social media with “exciting things to come.”

The country music artist posted a photo of herself taking a break from work. In the photo, Underwood sat on a sofa and gazed out the window of her balcony. She didn’t specify what those exciting things might be.

She wrote, “Taking a moment before a busy day. So many exciting things coming! #ChooseYou #StayThePath.”

As part of her Season of Giving, Underwood asked for and has been sharing Letters of Hope with her fans. These letters tell stories of how people have helped each other in times of crisis and need.

Carrie Underwood Had a Successful Year

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, 2020 has been a successful year for the country artist. Underwood seems to be winning at life. In September, Underwood won the shared title of ACM Entertainer of the Year with Thomas Rhett. It was the first time in the award ceremony’s history that two artist time. This was also Underwood’s third time winning the award.

In early October, Underwood released her first Christmas album. Upon release, the album, My Gift, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Country, Christian, and Holiday charts. It is the eighth album from Underwood to debut at No.1 on the country chart. Underwood featured her son Isaiah on the album.

“I’ve always wanted to make a Christmas album and it’s been a long time coming,” Underwood said in a statement. “I knew this would be my next music project after wrapping my tour last year. I think it’s turned out to be the perfect time for an album like this. In this period of such personal and spiritual reflection. For me, it’s more important than ever to focus on the true meaning of Christmas in a project like this. Even though it has been a tough year for all of us. Sometimes I feel like the greatest realizations can be inspired by the most difficult times. And make us more grateful for the things we do have and for what truly matters.”

Underwood also revealed she will be shooting a Christmas special for HBO Max.
