While the live show takes place tonight, Underwood is already a big winner. There was a live stream on TikTok that showed the awards being given. The two awards that she won are Favorite Female Country Artist as well as Favorite Inspirational Artist. Those are the 16th and 17th AMA awards of her career.
Carrie Underwood was nominated for Favorite Female Country Artist alongside other great names. Gabby Barrett, Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris, and Miranda Lambert were nominated as well. In the Inspirational category, she was alongside CAIN, Elevation Worship, Lauren Daigle, and Zach Williams.
Of course, there will be many great performances tonight during the show. Jason Aldean will join Underwood on stage. Their hit song, If I Didn’t Love You rose the charts to the top earlier this year. Fans have taken to the song and it might be the love song of the year. The duo performed the song at the CMAs earlier this month.
