Carrie Underwood’s Walk-in Closet Life Hack Is Next Level Brilliant

by Charles Craighill

If you have a walk-in closet in your house, Carrie Underwood has a life hack for you that you cannot miss. In an Instagram picture that she posted over the summer, the country music star unintentionally shared an insight that most people have never thought about. While posing in a bikini for a mirror selfie in her walk-in closet, fans caught a glimpse of a washer and dryer combo in the background. That genius idea set fans off in the comment section.

“First day of summer!” Carrie Underwood wrote in the post. “Loving this swim combo!” she added, tagging her clothing line CALIA by Carrie. She also added her inspirational hashtag, ‘choose you.’

The bikini certainly had an eye-catching black-and-white design, however, fans zeroed in on the bombshell behind her. By bombshell, of course, we mean the washer and dryer combo in her closet. Imagine never having to carry clothes to a laundry room again!

Seriously, what an idea. For most, the installation of a washing machine and a dryer in their walk-in closet may be more complicated than it seems. For instance, pretty much all laundry machines need a water hookup and all dryers need a similar hub. However, for those who want to renovate their bedroom or their home, this is something to strongly consider.

CALIA by Carrie: Carrie Underwood Clothing Line

Outside of her country music stardom, Carrie Underwood has also established herself in the fashion world with her clothing line, CALIA by Carrie. The country music star has inspired many women, young and old, to prioritize their physical health. This is where her “Choose You” hashtag comes from.

While her book, Find Your Path: Honor Your Body, Fuel Your Soul, and Get Strong With the Fit52 Life, has helped people find fitness in their lives, her athleisure clothing line has also helped. In December of 2019, Carrie Underwood talked to PEOPLE magazine about what her clothing line means to her.

“I’ve had several occasions where women would come through meet and greet lines. They would say, ‘You inspired me,'” Carrie Underwood said to PEOPLE. “They’d be wearing Calia head to toe, and they’d be like, ‘You inspired me and I got into the gym. I started walking, I started changing my diet, and I feel so much better, I lost this much weight.'”

“It’s fun being creative and it’s fun making clothes that I love to wear,” She added. “But then you see how people are using them in lives, and taking ownership over their health and feeling better about themselves.”
