Charlie Daniels Jr. took to social media on Friday to express his thoughts on political happenings in Georgia. The son of music industry legend Charlie Daniels Sr. says “hell’s breaking loose” in the Peach State after the 2020 presidential election. Using social media and his father’s website, he says he fears the 2020 election may have been “rigged.”

The highly contested election saw Democrat Joe Biden take the nation’s highest office from Republican Donald Trump. Many Trump supporters, and even Trump himself, are claiming widespread voter fraud cost him the election despite little evidence to back it up.

“I’m sure that if Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity suggests Republicans up and move to the Peach State in the next month, then hell would break loose in Georgia, to paraphrase a certain fiddler player I was close to,” Daniels Jr. says in the caption.

In the essay, Daniels Jr. says his concern is “what could potentially be the most widespread voter fraud in our nation’s history.”

“Sadly, rigged elections are nothing new,” he says. “Allegations of rigged elections go all the way back to John Adams and Thomas Jefferson in 1800, again in 1824 and in 1876.”

Daniels Jr. Tweet Draws Social Media Attention

Many Charlie Daniels fans chimed in on the Twitter post, with some using lyrics from one of Daniels’ greatest hits in the reply.

“The devil is dealing the cards,” a Twitter user writes. “We need Johnny!”

“The Devil went down to Georgia he was way behind and trying to make a deal,” another fan writes.
