Well that’s a baby that even John Dutton could be proud of. Country singer Chris Lane recently shared the name of his newborn son. And well – he must be a “Yellowstone” fan.
Lane’s newborn has not one but two names that correlate to characters on the hit Paramount show. Some might say coincidence. But we at Outsider believe Lane must be among the ravenous fanbase waiting for a Season Four in the near future. Either way, it’s a pretty cool moniker if we do say so.
On Instagram, Lane wrote, “Words can’t describe the love i feel inside my heart for this little man! Thanks for all the prayers. I will never understand how @laurenlane birthed a 9 pound baby! DUTTON WALKER LANE welcome to the world.”
Walker is a prominent character on “Yellowstone” as fans know. Played by Ryan Bingham, Walker is a convicted felon turned ranch hand on the Yellowstone Ranch. But Walker quickly squandered his second chance and got on the bad side of Rip Wheeler. Wheeler ordered for Kayce to take him to the train station (code for killing him). But Kayce decided to spare Walker, meaning the character could pop up again in the future.
Also like Lane, Walker had aspirations of being a country singer. Of course, Lane has been far more successful than the “Yellowstone” character. Meanwhile, Lane’s son’s middle name is Dutton. The Duttons are the stars of the show on “Yellowstone.” The entire show revolves around the Dutton family and their attempts to keep their land.
Chris Lane and His Wife Lauren
Whether they’re “Yellowstone” fans or not, Chris Lane and his wife Lauren are happy to finally greet their bundle of joy. Previously, Lauren discussed the couple’s attempts to get pregnant. Lane and Lauren started trying to have a baby in March of 2020.
“It didn’t take us an abnormal amount of time, the whole process really opened my eyes to the struggle that many women and families face,” Bushnell wrote. It took them around five months to get pregnant.
“I couldn’t help but compare my situation with those of my friends who it happened very easily for, a lot of the time unplanned … And as hard as trying to conceive is on the woman, I just want to take a moment to acknowledge the impact it has on husbands as well. I’m so thankful for Chris. He is such an eternal optimist and I admire his faith so much – he truly was my rock through the emotional rollercoaster of it all,” she continued.
