Country superstar Chris Stapleton can have his pick of many musicians to collaborate with. However, there is one, in particular, he has his eyes set on: his wife.

When Morgane Stapleton joined Chris on the stage at the 2020 CMA Awards Wednesday night, magic filled the auditorium. Both fans and entertainers alike were mesmerized and gave rave reviews of the duet.

Chris went acoustic, while a single house light shone down upon the two, as they sang an intimate rendition of his song “Starting Over”.

After the two performed the beautiful duet, encouragement has been growing for the two to work together.

Chris Stapleton’s new album, entitled the same as the song, comes out tomorrow.

Stapleton has already worked with the likes of Justin Timberlake but is now focusing on bringing his sound home with his wife performing by his side.

This isn’t the first time Morgane has joined Chris on the journey through his musical career. When first starting out, Chris gained fame and recognition by performing with his band, The SteelDrivers, before taking on his hit solo album “Traveller.”

The album was a success combining Stapleton’s vocals and guitar playing, a band of session players backing him up, which included his wife, Morgane.

Morgane Stapleton is a singer and songwriter, who performs background, harmony and duet vocals in Stapleton’s band. She was a huge part in the creation of his debut album “Traveller” and has written material that has been recorded by Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler and LeAnn Rimes.

“My wife’s been listening to a lot of H.E.R. Man, what a cool artist she is,” says Stapleton. “It would be fun to get into some R&B things. I think she’s a brilliant artist all the way around, as a player and singer. She’s phenomenal.
