‘CMA Country Christmas’ to Feature Performances by Carrie Underwood, Lady A, Pistol Annies & More

The Holiday season is upon us and that means Christmas music. CMA Country Christmas is going to be packed with performances from Carrie Underwood and more. The list of performers is very impressive and will have fans excited heading into December.

There are going to be a lot of great artists. So, let’s get into them because this list is long. First of all, Carly Pearce and Gabby Barrett share hosting duties. Then they will be joined by Jimmie Allen with Louis York & The Shindellas, Breland, Carrie Underwood, Lady A, Pistol Annies, and so many more.

This event is going to be one to watch. We know that Underwood is a Christmas season veteran. She has performed many songs for the season in the past. However, throw in Pistol Annies with Miranda Lambert and this could be a very special year for the event. Lambert and company have already teased their Christmas album for fans.

Check out the preview below.

On this list, though one of the performances that I am so excited for has to be BRELAND. The young singer is on quite a trajectory right now. As one of the brightest young stars in the country music world, he has proven time and again he has what it takes. He spoke with Outsider’s own Marty McGee about expectations and so much more. His CMA Country Christmas performance looks like it should be emotional from the preview.

‘CMA Country Christmas’ Brings Student Performers out With Stars

So, it isn’t just the big stars that are going to perform. As always, CMA is sticking to its commitment to support young artists. CMA Country Christmas will feature two student performers. 17-year-old Truman Eltringham from Nashville along with 8-year-old Carter Hammonds will take the stage. Hosts Gabby Barrett and Carly Pearce are going to be joined by the students for a must-see performance.

Since 2010, the Country Music Association has put together this event. Executive Producer and Writer Robert Deaton is joined by director Paul Miller. Also, the set was designed in a partnership with Balsam Hill. So all the trees you see along with the decorations on the show are done with their help. While it is a couple of weeks away, it is so exciting to get this sneak peek.

Once Thanksgiving is over, the Christmas season begins in full force. While folks get their trees and decorations up a lot earlier these days, the CMA Country Christmas will be one of the events that ring in the season properly. Underwood, Pistol Annies, Breland, the star power is there and ready to put on a great show. It is going to be a night to remember. We cannot wait!
