As CMA Country Christmas is well underway, take a look at Gabby Barrett singing her version of The First Noel. Her rendition of the classic Christmas song is a beautiful, goosebump-inducing performance.

Barrett is just 20 years old but already has accomplished a long list of achievements. In 2018, she placed third on American Idol. In 2017, she released her first song, “I Hope,” which was the first top ten Hot Country Song hit by a solo woman.

A little under an hour into the show, those watching the CMA Country Christmas are graced with Barrett’s performance.

Kicking off Christmas listening to Barrett’s heartfelt version of the famous song is certainly not a bad way to usher in Christmas. You can feel the emotions that Barrett sings with during her performance.

Dressed in a chic, sparkly red dress, Barrett dons red gloves to exquisitely pronounce her Christmas vibe. Certainly making a statement with her attire, her song does even more talking.

CMA Country Christmas also featured performances from Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, Kelsea Ballerini, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, Lady A, Thomas Rhett, and Darius Rucker with Lindsey Stirling. An exciting show that Barrett absolutely rocked.

The powerful singer excited fans by releasing her own version of the song “The First Noel.” Barrett released the track in late October that got everyone in the mood for Christmas.

Gabby Barrett Is Expecting a Child

Perhaps the best Christmas present is that she is expecting a May baby with her American Idol beau.

In an interview, Barrett talks about her last Christmas as a family of two. She adds that the Christmas season means the world to her. Specifically talking about her Christmas song, Barrett says that celebrating Jesus is important to her.

“You know, as Christians, for Christmas, we celebrate Christ’s birth, of course. But even further, as to why we celebrate him in general, is because of the sacrifice he’s provided on behalf of all of us on himself.”

Barrett goes on, talking about why Christians, in general, celebrate the birth of Christ. Also, Barrett mentions how excited she is to perform the song to audiences.

“And I think it’s really nice to be able to sing a song that really clarifies why we celebrate Christmas in the first place, and why I’m always excited about Christmas. And so I’m just really excited. I’m very honored that I get to perform it, and I hope everybody enjoys it.”
