The MLB’s National League and American League Championship Series are in full swing, and multiple country music stars are showing their support for one baseball team in particular.

The Atlanta Braves are facing the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS, and the Tampa Bay Rays are playing the Houston Astros in the ALCS. The Rays lead the Astros 2 games to zero in the seven game series. And on Monday night, the Braves beat the Dodgers in the first game of the series. Both sets of games continue on Tuesday evening.

However, one of the four teams has received a lot of fan support on social media the last couple of days. Multiple country music stars have taken to Twitter and Instagram to voice their support for their beloved Atlanta Braves. For the first time in almost 20 years, Atlanta has made it back to the NLCS. Whichever teams win the best-of-seven playoff NLCS and ALCS will move on to the World Series.

Country Music Stars Voice Their Support for the Atlanta Braves

On Monday morning, country artist Cole Swindell couldn’t contain his excitement as he woke up ready for the Braves first NLCS game in years. Swindell grew up in south Georgia, and attended college at Georgia Southern University. He comes by his Braves fandom honestly. Swindell compared his excitement for Game 1 to waking up for school as a kid when you know you’re going on a field trip.

Additionally, the musician jumped back on Twitter to celebrate after the Braves beat the Dodgers 5-1. Swindell posted a clip of Braves third baseman Austin Riley’s clutch home run in the 9th inning.

Next, another Georgia born and bred musician voiced his support for Atlanta’s playoff run. Country music star Jason Aldean was born and raised in Macon, GA, and posted a photo of him watching Game 1 to his Instagram story. While left fielder Marcell Ozuna was up to bat, Aldean posted a pic of his TV with the caption “MY BOYS ARE BACK IN THE NLCS!”

Afterward, the Braves official Instagram account reposted Aldean’s story to their own.

Finally, the Zac Brown Band – based in Atlanta, GA – also shared a video on their official Twitter account. Three of the band’s members showed support for their hometown team. Band members Jimmy De Martini, John Driskell Hopkins, and Daniel de los Reyes all wore Braves gear in the video. Each said “Mix it up for the A” as they mimed stirring a bowl, which is Ozuna’s signature celebration. Atlanta’s official Twitter account retweeted the band’s post, and thanked them for their support.

Both series continue on Tuesday evening as all four teams vie for a spot in the World Series. The Braves play the Dodgers in Game 2 of the NLCS. And the Rays take on the Astros in Game 3 of the ALCS.
