Who doesn’t want to shake it with Luke Bryan?
It’s not uncommon for the country superstar, Luke Bryan to invite fans or fellow performers onto the stage so he can teach them how to shake it to his song, “Country Girl (Shake It For Me).” During a show in 2014, Duck Dynasty Willie Robertson received one of Bryan’s famous dance lessons.
During the show, Bryan begins performing “Country Girl,” before Robertson appears on stage. The crowd goes wild as Robertson mimics Bryan’s dance moves while shaking his hips.
Bryan then guides Robertson to the front and center spot of the stage and asks “You ready to give it to ’em?” Robertson nods his head and Bryan continues to perform the song.
Robertson keeps dancing, even getting down on the ground and shaking his hips at one point. Although the dance was taught by Luke Bryan, the performance definitely had a Robertson flair to it.
Once the song was over and Robertson finished dancing, Bryan high-fived his dancing friend before continuing with his concert.
Luke Bryan And Willie Robertson Are Hunting Buddies
Robertson and Bryan met through a mutual friend, former professional baseball player Adam LaRoche. Although according to Robertson, Bryan wasn’t great at hunting, they enjoyed his company.
“We used to bring them to deer camp,” says Robertson. “Really, honestly, the only value they brought to us at the time was just to sing and entertain us. So, they would sit around, and we had a lot of fun,” he says.
As both Bryan and Robertson’s careers took off, Robertson even included Bryan in his Buck Commander venture. Buck Commander is the sister organization to the Robertson family’s Duck Commander company. Robertson says that it’s been a blessing to be able to rise in success with his friend, Luke Bryan.
“I don’t think any of us would’ve thought we would all be where we are at this point,” says Robertson.
