The 14- time Grammy-nominated country singer and songwriter, Dierks Bentley is set to perform on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

Bentley’s first single from his new album Gone. He writes on Twitter, “Looking forward to performing on @FallonTonight at 10:35 CST on NBC… Tune in to hear my new single #Gone

Bentley’s been open about his anxiety during the coronavirus pandemic. He even moved his family to a small town in Colorado to “make up for lost time.”

The lyrics of the new single are about a break-up, reading, “I’ve been sittin’ on the couch watching TV all day long” and ” I’ve been tryin’ to figure out how a good thing went wrong… Ever since you moved on, I’ve been gone.” “Gone” is now streaming.

Though this song’s not supposed to be about the pandemic. However, other tracks on the album are about some of the things the 44-year old experienced during the quarantine.

Dierks Bentley Wants to Stay Connected to Fans

Bentley’s relying on lyrics and melodies to try and connect with his fans. He wants them to know that they’re still important to him and his band.

“Country music is the best genre for storytelling, and I feel like we are realizing it probably now more than ever since we can’t congregate together at concerts, high five each other, sing and shout at the top of our lungs. A good country show is just about the greatest communion there is out there,” Bentley said. “I hope this song resonates with mine, and I’m counting the days until we can all be back together again, beers in the air.”

Dierks Bentley co-wrote 10 of 13 tracks on his album Gone. As a matter of fact, this album’s earned the highest debut in sales of Bentley’s career. It even became his seventh chart-topping release.

Bentley’s released 9 studio albums since 2003. Six went on to top Billboard’s Top Country albums chart. He’s notched 17 No. 1 songs on the Country Airplay chart. This year, Bentley is also celebrating his 15th anniversary as a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
