Dierks Bentley is out for a “local hike” as he posts breathtaking shots of Wilson Peak in Colorado – also known as the ‘Coors Light Mountain’.

“Local hike this morning with some local nutrition Byte Bar. Coors Light Mountain (Wilson Peak) in background,” the country star posted to his twitter. The caption is a simple one – but the photos for said caption, however, are absolutely beautiful.

Bentley and his wife of 15 years, Cassidy Black, are taking full advantage of their “second home” state, Colorado. The Nashville natives can be seen out for a hike in perfect weather. The locale? Wilson Peak.

The famous mountain is a 14,023-foot peak in Colorado. Hikers can find Wilson Peak in the Lizard Head Wilderness area of the Uncompahgre National Forest.

Where else can they find the San Juan Mountains’ most famous summit? On cans of Coors Light, of course. As Bentley points out, the mountain is mascot to one of the U.S.’s most popular beers. The shape of the summit, too, is instantly recognizable for those familiar with the brand.

Bentley can also be seen toting a “local nutrition Byte Bar”. While the pair are, indeed, native to Nashville, Tennessee – Bentley says he wants “as many reasons to stay in Colorado” as he can get. This led the country music star to found Seven Peaks, a Colorado music festival.

The festival was a hit in 2019. This year’s COVID-19 pandemic, however, has prevented Bentley’s Colorado festival dreams from flourishing. Thankfully, though, it looks like he and wife Cassidy are finding plenty of ways to keep active and healthy in the state.
