As it did with pretty much everything, the deadly COVID-19 virus wreaked havoc on the world of country music. Several country artists had big travel plans for 2020 that came to screeching holt as the coronavirus pandemic took over. More than a few of those artists with washed out 2020’s now say they are gearing up for live performances in 2021.

Any musical artist will tell you that performing in front a live audience is one of their most favorite things to do. Most acts have not been able to tour or hold live shows in over a year due to the pandemic. Bentley says his last live show in Omaha, Nebraska was a year ago today on February 23. He took to social media on Monday to let his fans know he has big plans for 2021 while looking to make up for lost time.

“This is from exactly a year ago at are last show in Omaha,” Bentley says in the post’s caption space. “Missing you guys like crazy! We’re planning a tour for later this year. I’m just gonna go ahead and put that out there cause maybe it will happen that way ?!”
