Dolly Parton Celebrates Her Fans for Being ‘Blessing’ of 2020 in New Photo

Legendary country music singer and songwriter Dolly Parton has her sights set on the approaching new year.

But Parton had an eventful and successful 2020 and says her fans are the reason for the big year. The “Jolene” and “I Will Always Love You” singer took to social media on Wednesday to express her appreciation. In the post she also shares several photos with her fans and social media followers that show Parton through the years.

“Oh, what a year it has been,” she says with a heart emoji attachment. “Thank you for being a blessing throughout 2020.”

Parton’s fans responded the post in droves with worship and appreciation for the country singing sensation. In under an hour, the Instagram post collected more than 50,000 “likes” and hundreds of replies.

Many of her fans say Parton’s songs and style helped them through a tough a year. She is known to interact with her fans and provide inspiration to her followers when it is needed most. Without question, 2020 was a year in which motivation was needed more than ever.

“Always going to be the world’s best female voice,” one fans says in a reply. “I am so glad I had Dolly to listen and learn from.”

Dolly Parton Makes a Splash in 2020

Parton made news this year with the release of her Christmas album in October. “A Holly Dolly Christmas” proved to be a smash hit among fans of the singer. She also collected the holiday spotlight this year with a touching letter asking Santa Claus to bring Joy to the world.

On her Christmas album she is joined by numerous stars including Miley Cyrus, Willie Nelson and Michael Buble. In addition, she sings numerous Christmas classics.

She also put out a Christmas movie on Netflix called “Christmas on the Square” and a television special featuring songs from her album.
