NBC will air ‘Christmas in Rockefeller Center’ on Wednesday, Dec. 2. Another reason to stay home: one of the musical guests for the event includes America’s sweetheart, Dolly Parton.

The lineup doesn’t stop there. Musical acts of all genres will be performing, including Gwen Stefani, Dan +Shay, Kelly Clarkson, Brett Eldredge, and many more. Many of the musical guests will be performing duets.

In addition to the performances, the event will also include the Christmas tree’s ceremonial lighting located in New York’s Rockefeller Center.

Along with musical guests, television hosts such as Jimmy Fallon and the ‘TODAY Show’ anchors will also participate in the event.

As for Dolly, she’ll be performing virtually alongside Jimmy Fallon. The two will give a rendition of the classic Christmas song, “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” A song Dolly sings in her latest Christmas album, “A Holly Dolly Christmas.”

More Musical Guests to Join the Holiday Event

Gwen Stefani will also be performing virtually, though it remains unclear as to whether she’s planning on giving us a holiday surprise duet with fiancé Blake Shelton.

The all-star lineup for the event also includes the Goo Goo Dolls, Earth, Wind & Fire, Pentatonic, Meghan Trainor, and more.

Kelly Clarkson and Brett Eldredge will perform together as well. Earlier this season, the pair recently collaborated on an original Christmas song titled “Under the Mistletoe.”

Country power duo Dan + Shay also put together a Christmas track this year. Their holiday tune “Take Me Home for Christmas” was released earlier in November.

During the airing, viewers will get the chance to donate to ‘Red Nose Day’, which helps children and families struggling with food and hunger insecurity during the holidays. Funds raised during the special will help support programs that work towards feeding children and families across the country. You can learn more about ‘Red Nose Day’ here.

Make sure to tune in to NBC to watch the two-hour ‘Christmas in Rockefeller Center’ special. It airs on Dec. 2 at 8 p.m. ET.
