Dolly Parton Performing on Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Dolly Parton will perform at the upcoming Macy’s Day Parade. She will be bringing her usual holiday cheer to viewers across the country for the Thanksgiving Parade.

The event will be held virtually this year in New York City with no live audiences due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Parton will perform in partnership with the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. This will be the second year that the company appeared in the parade. For her appearance, Parton will sing a rendition of the classic song “A Holly Jolly Christmas.”

The company will also be giving away a VIP Watch package to 10 viewers of the parade. The package includes among other things an autographed album by Parton.

“We all find comfort in traditions, especially during the holiday season. And America is yearning for familiar holiday traditions, like the iconic Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, now more than ever,” Jennifer Tate said. in a press release. Tate is the Cracker Barrel senior vice president and chief marketing officer.

“It is still important for us to share in the magic of the holiday season with our guests,” Tate continued. “Even from home. The VIP Watch Party Package gives a few lucky fans a chance to experience the nostalgia and holiday cheer that Cracker Barrel. And Dolly will bring to this year’s Parade in a safe, yet fun and memorable way.”

Dolly Parton Loves Christmas and the Holidays

Parton seems to be more festive than ever for Christmas and the holiday season. She released her third Christmas album A Holly Dolly Christmas in October.

The album debuted at the top of Billboard’s Country Albums and Top Holiday Albums. The album features collaborations with several musicians: Michael Bublé, Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley Cyrus, Jimmy Fallon, and Willie Nelson. It also features a duet with Parton’s brother Randy.

Parton will also star in the Netflix special Dolly Parton’s Christmas on The Square a few days before Thanksgiving on Nov. 22.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will air on NBC, Thursday, Nov. 26 from 9 a.m. to Noon
