Could the three legends who made the film “9 to 5” such a success soon be appearing on camera together again? Dolly Parton says she can see it happening. Soon, fans will see her acting with Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin on a popular show.

According to an interview the country music legend had on ITV’s Lorraine, Parton reportedly confirmed that she will be making an appearance on the Netflix show “Grace and Frankie.”

Dolly Parton gave her interview to Lorraine Kelly, as well as Barry Gibb via video call from her Nashville home, according to the article from the Daily Mail.

The show stars Tomlin and Fonda as friends whose husbands fall in love with one another. The couples split up, leaving Tomlin’s and Fonda’s characters in need of one another to make it through this crisis and the years that follow. Tomlin plays Frankie, while Fonda plays Grace. Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston star as their ex-husbands.

The show is full of laughs, but also has many touching moments. According to the article, the upcoming season, which is the seventh in the show’s run, will be the last. During its run on Netflix, “Grace and Frankie” has been nominated for a Golden Globe, as well as multiple Emmy Awards.

“I have been trying to do ‘Grace and Frankie’ for years …,” Dolly Parton reportedly says during the interview. “We worked so well on ‘9 to 5’ and it’s a crazy wonderful show.”

When will Parton film her role on “Grace and Frankie”? That, she says, is still up in the air.

“We have been trying to write me in somehow, so when it is safe to actually do a production, I will probably get around to doing that,” Parton says.

Now, all we have to do is sit back and wait to see Parton, Tomlin, and Fonda together again. Wonder what role Dolly will play?
