Eric Church is serving us joy like Santa on Christmas morning with his new Amazon Music Exclusive Performance.

Oh, did you say exclusive? Excited is an understatement. Count us in.

On Tuesday, April 20th, Eric Church will be hosting a performance from his upcoming three-part project, Heart & Soul. Additionally, after the show, Church will be answering questions from die-heart fans like you and us.

However, the only way to be a part of this exclusive event is through the Amazon Music Twitch channel, which is featured on the Amazon Music mobile app. The performance begins at 8 p.m. CT.

Furthermore, fans will have four days to rewatch the show afterward. Eric Church’s PR company sent out a press release today to give more details about the concert.

Today the big news broke about the 10-time Grammy nominee and reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year’s virtual performance.

“Following the release of Heart this Friday, the first album from his highly anticipated new three-part project, Church will perform new music, including “Rock And Roll Found Me” from Soul for the first time ever ahead of the album’s release next Friday,” the press release read.

Creating Eric Church’s New Album

The Heart & Soul album had an unconventional upbringing. In a behind-the-scenes clip of the album’s productions, Eric Church dives into the location and the fast-paced manner the album was created.

The team headed to a wood-covered restaurant hidden away in North Carolina to write and record Heart & Soul. This also helped with keeping focus without distractions from the outside world.

“This time, I wanted to make people really uncomfortable. We sequestered ourselves in the mountains of North Carolina, a place I’ve been many times. There’s a place called Artisanal and everything’s wood, and I said to my wife, ‘Wow, this would be a great studio.'”

The process was no easy feat. Eric Church revealed that there was one point where he went three or four days without sleep, which made this album both physically and mentally exhausting.

He and his team would write a song in the morning and have it recorded by the time the sun went down. Church said in this painstaking process he wanted to put “creativity in the driver’s seat.”

Furthermore, this cutthroat pace of creating songs made it so Eric Church would completely forget about a piece he created a few days prior. Church explains how this was the first time he was able to listen to the music as a fan.
