Is Florida Georgia Line Dropping Surprise Album on Friday?

Country music super duo Florida Georgia Line took to social media on Thursday to provide a small tease for fans. The super-popular group tells their fans that they have big news that will be dropping on Friday. The tweet includes a video with the group’s music playing in the background while pics of the band’s albums appear.

The social media post has left some to wonder if the tweet is a hint that the group will be putting out an album. Florida Georgia Line is made up of musicians Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard. Whatever the tweet is relating to, Kelley and Hubbard have caused quite a stir among their fan base.

“Big announcement coming tomorrow morning,” the group says in the tweet. They follow the caption with three rocketship emojis to close.

Florida Georgia Line Earns High Honor

Florida Georgia Line has found a lot of success since hitting the big time stage 10 years ago in 2010. Their popularity amongst country music fans led to the band set a new record in the genre. The group became the first country act to have two hit singles reach Diamond status. The singers became the first country artists in RIAA certification’s 62-year history to achieve two Diamond singles.

The band thanks their fans for making the high honor possible and says they look forward to many more years of success.

“Thank you guys for the recognition, and this ride has been a dream come true,” Brian Kelley says of the honor. “It’s pretty crazy hearing the numbers. It’s pretty wild to think about it in that time span.”

Hubbard echoes Kelley’s sentiment and calls the achievement “surreal.”

“It is surreal, and it is nice to take a second to let that sink in, and honestly, we’re so thankful,” he says. “It’s awesome to know it’s connecting. When I hear those numbers, that’s what I hear, and I just think that’s something that we can all be proud of.”
