He crushes album sales, ticket sales, and has an army of fans around the globe. For many people, Garth is the first name that comes to mind when they think of country music. However, don’t think that he has a case of the big head. Nope. The Oklahoma native knows that none of this would be possible without his loyal listeners.
Recently, Garth Brooks kicked off a nationwide stadium tour. He has been itching to get back on the road for eighteen months. Now, he is finally able to spill all of his pent-up energy onto crowds across the nation. His first stop took place last night under the bright lights of Sin City. He rocked a sold-out crowd at Allegiant Stadium.
In the wee hours of the morning, Garth Brooks took to Twitter to celebrate last night’s show. More importantly, he wanted to show his gratitude to those who made that incredible night possible. The tweet contains an epic black-and-white photo of Brooks on his knees on the stage. He has his hands lifted as if in prayer as the spotlight shines down on him. Check out the epic snap below.
Garth Brooks Celebrates, Thanks Fans
There is no doubt that Garth Brooks appreciates every moment he spends in the spotlight, both literal and metaphorical. He started his tweet by celebrating the return of live music. That is something we can all agree on at this point. Then, he goes on to thank his fans.
“THANK YOU for my life and for tonight!!!” he wrote in the caption, no doubt still buzzing from the stage.
Garth Brooks has plenty to be thankful for right now. He has eight stops left on his stadium tour. Six of those dates are already sold out. However, ticket sales aren’t lagging on the other dates. For instance, he will be in Music City on July 31st. You can still get tickets for that show. However, he broke the entertainment ticket sales record at the Nissan Stadium in seventy-five minutes, according to his website. So, you could say things are going well.
In October Garth Brooks is heading to the Gillette Stadium in Boston for the first time. Tickets for that show will be available later this week. Additionally, Garth sold out his July 17th stop at the Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah. However, some lucky fans will be able to see him at a bar called The Westerner on the night prior to the big stadium show.
