Can Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood just stop being so darn cute?

Garth Brooks is once again putting every other man on Earth to shame with his praise for his wife, Trisha Yearwood. As a country music artist, Yearwood has won three Grammy Awards, three Academy of Country Music Awards, and three Country Music Association awards. She even won a Daytime Emmy award for her Food Network television show Trisha’s Southern Kitchen. Certainly, Trisha Yearwood has made a name for herself in the country world. So, why isn’t she a part of the Country Music Hall of Fame yet? Garth Brooks is asking the same question. During an interview, Brooks shared that he thinks it’s a “crime” that Yearwood isn’t currently in the hall of fame.

“One of the greatest crimes in country music history right now: Trisha Yearwood is not in the Country Music Hall of Fame yet,” said Brooks. “That is a crime because I cannot tell you how many people have moved to this town because this woman’s voice drove them here. This is the greatest singer we have in country music, arguably, and so I’m a huge, huge fan.”

And just like that Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks once again raised the bar for #RelationshipGoals.

Have You Seen This Adorable Concert Tradition That Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks Have?

If Garth’s hype for Trisha wasn’t cute enough for you, we’ve got something even better. If you’ve ever seen a Garth and Trisha performance, you may have noticed that the two have a concert tradition. After all of their performances together, they bow to each other. During an episode of his Facebook Live show Inside Studio G, Garth Brooks talked about how the tradition started. First, he joked that Trisha makes him bow to her.

“When we first started singing together, she told me I had to. After every song, I had to bow to her,” joked Brooks. “Then she probably started feeling guilty I was bowing, so she’d bow back.”

Then Brooks got a little more serious and revealed the real reason why he bows to his wife after performances.

“It’s out of respect of her gift, of her talent, and the fact that she’s done it on her own, as a woman in this business,” said Brooks. “Long before I ever thought it was possible to date the woman, much less marry her, I’m the biggest fan of Trisha Yearwood’s voice you can imagine.”
