Today, April 24, is the 79th birthday day of Barbra Streisand. And, one of the people celebrating the music, movie, and Broadway stage legend is one of the daughters of country music stars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.

That daughter is Gracie McGraw, who is the oldest of the famous couple’s three children. The 23-year-old aspiring actress shared her birthday wishes for Streisand via Instagram on Saturday. And, in addition to those birthday wishes, she paid tribute to “Babs” with a performance of one of the singer’s most iconic songs.

“HBD BABS … decided to say Eff it and do people even though my allergies are preventing me from sounding good. I started getting emotional because I thought about hearing Babs sing this live… a truly magical experience,” Gracie McGraw shared. “She’s the best, she’s iconic, she’s everywhere in my house, and she’s one and only. Babs is goals, I mean literally who else could clone their dog and get away with it!!!!!!!!!”

The song “People” is from “Funny Girl.” In the movie – and the Broadway musical of the same name – Streisand’s sings the song in character as Fanny Brice. It’s a song about relationships and embracing the people you come into contact with.

You can watch Gracie McGraw pay tribute to Barbra Streisand on Instagram below. Before she begins singing the song, McGraw shares a few additional details during video.

“It’s show tune Saturday!” she said. “And, it’s Barbra Streisand’s birthday. So in honor of ‘Queen Babs,’ we’re going to do ‘People’ from ‘Funny Girl.’ This is my ‘Funny Girl’ hat. It looks nothing like that hat that Barbra wears in ‘Funny Girl,’ but it’s cheetah print, so it’s close enough.”

“Funny Girl” is a story about a talented performer – Fanny Brice – who rises from the vaudeville stage to a very successful career on Broadway. And, hopefully, for Gracie McGraw, she will see her own star rise just like Fanny Brice’s and Barbra Streisand’s did.

In response to Gracie McGraw Instagram post celebrating Barbra Streisand, fans shared their thoughts about her performance of “People.”

“This is my favorite!! I wish you would come to my house and sing for me and my girlfriend’s while we drink wine! You are too talented to be home alone singing!!! Unbelievably Beautiful!!!,” one fan shared.
