Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line celebrates his 34th birthday today.
Since making his debut with Florida Georgia Line in 2010, Hubbard has soared to fame as a musician. Since then, he’s helped write several number one hit songs, won awards and even broke some music industry records. To celebrate the country star’s birthday, we’ve got a list of his best career moments.
When FGL Released Their Debut Single
FGL took the country music scene by storm when they released their first single, “Cruise” in 2012. The song spent 54 weeks on the chart peaking in the number one spot on the Hot Country Songs chart. The song also made it to the number four spot on the Hot 100 chart.
When They Broke Records With Their Song, “Meant To Be”
FGL teamed up with Bebe Rexha for this song. It’s about surrendering the need to control the outcome of a relationship and simply believing that “if it’s meant to be, it’ll be.” The song spent a record-breaking 50-weeks atop the Hot Country Songs chart, peaking in the number one spot. They even won a Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for the song in 2019.
Florida Georgia Line Released A Tribute Song For Their Wives
Certainly, the duo is known mostly for their party songs. However, the men of FGL wanted to switch things up for their album, Dig Your Roots. And they did just that with their lead single from the album, “H.O.L.Y.” The song is a tribute to their real-life spouses. The duo sometimes even bring their wives on stage before playing the song while on tour.
When They Announced Their 2021 New Album
After rumors that the band broke up, FGL relieved all fans by announcing their newest album, Life Rolls On. This is FGL’s fifth studio album. It’s stacked full with 16 tracks including the title track, “Life Rolls On.” Florida Georgia Line will release the album on February 12.
