Jason Aldean Offers Glimpse at ‘High School Glory Days’ in Throwback Baseball Pic

by Kayla Zadel

Christmas Even or throwback Thursday? Jason Aldean is leaning more towards the later in his latest social media posts.

The country singer is taking us down memory lane in the photo that shows Aldean in his baseball uniform posing for his individual team photo.

Aldean believes that he’s gracing his fans with the photo by what he writes in the caption.

“Here is a little throwback Thursday pic I just came across of the high school glory days…… ur welcome⚾️ ,” it reads.

The throwback post shows Aldean kneeling on one knee holding a bat, the typical high school baseball pose in these kids of photos. He’s wearing a royal blue jersey with the initials “WA” on one side in white. It looks like he was number nine, but it’s too hard to confirm since his arm is covering up part of the space where the number would be.

Aldean is wearing a matching blue royal blue hat that also has the “WA” initials on the front. His pants are pinstriped and it looks like he wore sweatbands to complete his athletic outfit.

The Georgia native tags Windsor Academy Knights in the photo that was taken in 1994. The private Christian academy is located in Macon, Georgia and is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.

Fan Love the Jason Aldean Flashback Photo

Fans are filling the comments with their appreciation for the circa 1994 photo.

One person writes, “That young man was chasing his dreams and look where has taken you.”

Fun fact, Aldean actually turned down a baseball scholarship to pursue a career in music. He said he couldn’t imagine another four years of school.

Another shares their thoughts, “Awesome 🙌🏻 You look totally different but still the same.” And we can agree with this fan, as Aldean looks the same as he does now, but just grown up.

These fans also comment on his looks with “You look so handsome.. Merry Christmas” and “Lordy mercy u were a flippin doll.”
