Jason Aldean Announced New Album in October
Alden revealed on social media back in October that he was back in the recording studio making music. He shared a photo of himself on Twitter and wrote “Back in the studio today working on album 10!”
Although he didn’t reveal the name of his tenth album, Aldean did name his ninth studio album after the number itself. The singer released 9 during Fall 2019. Upon its release, the album made No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and also top of the country chart as well. “We Back” was the lead single for that album when it debuted in Nov. 2019.
“When I came into country music and made my mark, it was with a banger,” Aldean told The Boot about that single. “But we haven’t put out a lot of that stuff over the last couple years. So we got this song and to me it just says what it says: ‘Thought we were gone, but you’re wrong – now it’s on.’”
As of right now, it’s unknown when Aldean will release his next studio album. But the country singer has consistently released a new album every one to two years. Based on that trend, Aldean’s next album could release in 2021.
