While fame may have its downsides, according to Jason Aldean, it often has its perks, especially when getting pulled over by the police. The “Dirt Road Anthem” singer spoke out about getting out of tickets during an appearance on The Bobby Bones Show this week.
The Bobby Bones Show posted a clip from a Friday interview on social media.
Bones starts the conversation by asking: “You ever get pulled over and the cop comes up and goes, ‘Let me see your ID,’ and you hand him the ID and it says Jason Aldean, and they’re like ‘Oh crap!'”
The CMA award winner responded by saying, “I mean I’ve, you know, I’ve had to give them my license before but, you know. Some guys have no clue, you know, it’s kind of like, you’re just hoping for like some like kind of redneck cop that likes country music, you know?
He continued by adding: “So I’ve gotten some that are like: ‘License and registration, here’s your ticket.’ And then there’s other ones that are like, ‘Are you (Jason Aldean)?’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, I’m him.’ He’s like, ‘Oh cool, man. Love your stuff. Slow down. Have a good day.’ I’m like, ‘My man.'”
The Jason Aldean Family Christmas Card
Earlier this week, Jason Aldean and his family offered a look at their “Christmas card.” The country star’s wife, Brittany Aldean, shared a couple of photos that put on full display the difficulties of snapping pictures with toddlers. “Christmas card?? I like the second one lol,” Brittany captioned the post.
In the photos, Aldean is rocking a much fancier look than his typical stage clothes while sporting a gray suit. His wife is donning a floor-length green dress. His four children are also wearing their Sunday best.
Aldean’s fans showered the post with thousands of likes and comments. “Love it! Second one for sure!” one user writes. Another comments, “Clearly, Jason makes some beautiful children. Every single one of them is just 😍.”
