Jason Aldean is one of the most popular voices in country music. This means beyond just music, everything in his life is thrust into the spotlight. This includes his wife, Brittany Aldean, and their kids, Memphis and Navy.
Recently, Brittany opened up to about the kind of backlash and criticism she has received on social media. She explains that it has only made her stronger.
“But I feel like my skin has become super thick. Jason has too, obviously, because he’s been doing this for a very long time … I know people are always going to find an issue with something, and I’ve come to the realization that that’s just what it is,” Brittany said in an interview with CMT.
She continued by explaining that while some on social media offer criticisms, she feels an overwhelming amount of support from others, especially Jason’s fans. “So there’s no reason for me to stop my life,” she said. “And we’re so thankful for our fans and Jason’s fans who love him and love us through so much, that there’s no reason why we shouldn’t still be sharing our personal lives with them.”
Brittany also said that she still reads all the comments, whether they’re good or bad. She said she is good at letting the comments go, but for Jason, comments about his music can be particularly painful.
